Hearing Aid lineup

Just as every person is different, so is every hearing loss. Our hearing specialists have experience in the different programming for each hearing aid manufacturer and can recommend a device that will meet your unique needs. Finding the right hearing aid for your needs depends on two main factors: your degree of hearing loss and your lifestyle. Some hearing aids are better suited for milder hearing losses while others are designed for severe losses. Your lifestyle is also important to consider. If you live an active and busy lifestyle, then you will need a hearing aid that will provide you with better hearing in a number of complex listening environments.

No matter what your hearing needs are, the team at Palmetto Family Hearing Center can help you.

Our Hearing Aids vs OTC

Over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids can now be found at big box stores. OTC hearing aids are not the same as prescription hearing aids. OTC hearing aids are simple amplification devices, designed to make everything louder. Similar to reading glasses, OTC hearing aids are not programmed or fit to your specific needs, they are a one-size fits all option.

At Palmetto Family Hearing Center, our medical training, use of real ear verification, and advanced technology sets us apart from big box stores. When you visit us, you will receive personalized care and follow-up appointments. The hearing aids we carry are FDA approved and feature the latest advancements. We offer hearing aids at every price point, and we are confident we have a device that can help you. The hearing aids we carry are only available through a qualified hearing healthcare provider. Our devices cannot be purchased at a retailer or drug store.

If you are experiencing difficulty with your hearing, please contact us. We can evaluate your hearing, help you understand your hearing loss, and work with you to find a device that will allow you to reconnect with your loved ones again.

Lyric hearing aids

Lyric

Lyric hearing aids are unlike any other hearing aid on the market. These are a completely invisible, hassle-free option that we place directly in your ear canal. For two months at a time, you can forget your Lyric hearing aids are even in your ears because you won’t have to take them out to clean them or change a battery. At the end of that two months, you will come back to our office and we’ll replace your hearing aids with another set. Lyric hearing aids aren’t suitable for every hearing loss, but many people have found them to be a life-changer.
