Helping Our Community Hear Again!
Palmetto Family Hearing Center was featured on News Channel 3 WBTV for Better Speech and Hearing Month! What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Whether you visit us in Fort Mill or in Waxhaw, you will always be greeted by a friendly face. Prior to your appointment we will send you some paperwork to fill out, so you don’t have to wait when you arrive.
To begin your appointment, we will go over the questionnaire you filled out. We will ask you some questions about your health, family history, and medical history to help us understand what your needs are.
After our conversation then we will look inside your ears by performing an ear exam. If you have any impacted earwax, we can remove that prior to the hearing test.
Once we’ve ensured your ears are clear then we will begin the testing process. We will test your ability to hear different words and frequencies at a various tones.
After your hearing test we will discuss the results with you and go over solutions that will help you hear better.
